Description of Services:
Supports for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their caregivers
Services may include:
Support groups - Monthly sessions for caregivers * peer support groups for those living with dementia
Coffee Social Program - Opportunity to reconnect in person for a coffee, chat, games and trivia
Minds in Motion - Physical activity and brain stimulation program for those with early to mid-stage dementia and their care partners
In Home Recreation Program - Opportunity for persons living with dementia to participate in a range of activities that are stimulating, therapeutic, and socially engaging in their own home.
Adult Day Program - structured, engaging daytime support in a safe and welcoming environment
Services and Programs:
Services may include:
- support counselling
- social recreation programs
- educational information, sharing and discussions about Alzheimer's disease issues
- educational services for the public and service providers
- presentations to community groups
- in-service training
- public and secondary school education program
