Exercise and Fitness programs/classes for older adults
Power Sculpt Group Fitness Drop-In - a total body workout that focuses on muscular conditioning using a variety of weight training equipment
Kettlebell Group Fitness Drop-In - kettlebells are used to build core strength, stability and balance
Stretch and Strengthen Level 1 Group Fitness Drop-In - strengthen muscles safely and effectively with a variety of strength training equipment including weights, resistance bands and stability balls. Helps participants look better, feel better and improve flexibility and strength. Consist of chair and standing exercises, and no work on the floor
Pilates Group Fitness Drop-In - a holistic approach to body-conditioning, also improves posture, helps correct muscular imbalances. Intermediate fitness. Incorporate floor work
Women's Fitness Group Fitness Drop-In - for women who want to exercise in a group environment. This class will guide participants through a fitness routine that includes muscle conditioning and strength training while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Intermediate fitness level. Program may incorporate floor work. The program welcomes women, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals who identify with programs created for women
NOTE:
Required Equipment: Clean indoor athletic shoes
Programs occurring at Bob Callahan Flower City Senior Centre will require a Flower City Senior Membership in order to register for a spot in drop-ins or registered programs
