Program: Community Crisis Response Service - Aurora

Organization: Your Support Services Network - Mental Health and Developmental Services
Description of Services: This service available to all residents of York Region, North York and South Simcoe 24 hours per day, seven days per week, who are experiencing a mental health crisis and their families or friends. Individuals are connected to a crisis response worker who can help them through their crisis. A crisis worker can provide an immediate response in a variety of critical mental health situations including: depression, intense feelings of distress, loneliness, anxiety or fear, thoughts of suicide, feelings of rage, hopelessness or despair.
