Description of Services:
The regional renal program provides critical kidney care to patients across the Central West region, offering a wide range of kidney care services, including:

  • early diagnosis, treatment and monitoring
  • treatment counselling
  • dialysis
  • preparation for kidney transplants and dual kidney/pancreas transplants

Depending on patient needs:

  • connect patients with the services and supports they need, both at Osler and at partner facilities
  • support and follow patient progress every step of the way
  • offer services such as home dialysis, when possible, to promote a flexible, independent lifestyle

Osler's renal program partners with:

  • St. Michael's Hospital and University Health Network (for transplantation services)
  • Ontario Health atHome, Brampton - Central West Region
  • The Kidney Foundation of Canada
