Description of Services:
The Supportive Care Team is composed of professionals who specialize in providing emotional support, education, and compassionate care for people living with a serious illness, their caregivers, and those grieving a loss

Support provided to:
  • anyone living with a serious illness
  • caregivers and family members
  • anyone grieving a loss
Caregiver Support
  • education and guidance to help caregivers feel prepared
  • emotional support and counselling
  • connections to community resources
  • caregiver support groups
Grief Support - provide a safe and caring space for people of all ages to:
  • share their feelings and experiences
  • learn about grief and ways to cope
  • connect with others who understand
  • receive individual or *group support
  • HUUG - Help Us Understand Grief
The HUUG Program supports children, youth, and caregivers when someone they love is seriously ill or has died

Serious Illness Support - for individuals and families in the community coping with serious illness, caregiving, and loss
  • emotional support and counselling through difficult times and life changes
  • help understanding options and making decisions
  • support navigating healthcare systems and community resources
  • education about illness, end-of-life planning, and grief
  • support with advance care planning and legacy work
