Description of Services: Settlement services are for immigrants, refugees and newcomers to Canada * these services will help you settle and adjust to your new life in York Region, Ontario * provide information and referral for individuals and families on housing, how to find a physician and other healthcare professionals, referrals to language assessment, to English language classes, to employment supports, to legal services, to government programs, information on education, Parks and Recreation, libraries, schools, and other community resources

Provide settlement services in the five Welcome Centres in York Region in over 40 languages, and in libraries and community centres in York Region * services are free and confidential
