Description of Services:
200 bed long-term care home (1 respite bed) * eight houses of 25 residents each * residential care for 118 private rooms and 24 basic rooms (2 beds per room) * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals * 25 bed resident home area offering security to residents who wander
- bedding and furniture
- laundry and housekeeping
- meals
- personal hygiene supplies
- medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
- assistance with medication and activities of daily living
- social, recreational and therapeutic programs
- Milton Place Adult Day Program for the community
- Friend's Landing Adult Day Program for community based cognitively-impaired adults
- routine care by health care aides (help with eating, dressing, bathing, walking)
- levels of care include light, medium and heavy
- private and shared bathrooms
- occupational therapy or physiotherapy
- chaplaincy/spiritual support available for residents
- special diets
- emergency medical services (EMS) stations on-site
