Description of Services:
Information and guidance for seniors and people with physical disabilities to live comfortably while aging at home

Initiatives: 
  • assistive devices such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, commodes, hospital beds, lift chairs, and grab bars 
  • assistance in identifying available funding resources
  • vehicle modifications such as lifts and controls to allow a person with a disability to enter and/or drive
  • accessible home renovations including items such as ramps, stair lifts, widening doorways, and accessible bathroom facilities

Independent Living Services of Simcoe County and Area is a member of the Simcoe Muskoka Integrated Fall Strategy (SMIFS) and has received CARF Accreditation
